Costa Rica is quickly gaining recognition for cosmetic and dental excellence. A recent World Health Organization report rated Costa Rica's health system above that of the USA (1). The high level of professional training combined with an impressive public healthcare system makes Costa Rica an excellent choice for medical care and treatment. Costa Rica has a well-educated, tech-savvy population that is driving Costa Rica’s reputation as the Singapore of Central America. Many of Costa Rica's medical professionals are American Medical Board certified, guaranteeing training on a par with US counterparts. The Health Ministry has identified accreditation as an important part of driving high quality in healthcare.
